UDHAMPUR, May 9: Army Public School (APS) made it a clean sweep winning title trophies in both under-14 and under-17 boys inter-school district level Handball competitions held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Sports Stadium, here today.
The APS Udhampur defeated BBSV Peeth Udhampur in both under-14 and under-17 finals.
In the meantime, the department conducted trials to raise the district team in Basketball under-14 and under-17 categories. The trials were conducted by Ajay Sharma, Manik Nargotra, Kuldeep Kumar, Ashutosh, Ranveer Singh, Meenu and Anupama.
The selected girls shall participate in the Divisonal level inter district tournament next month.
The entire activity held under the supervision of district officer (DYSS), Kharati Lal Sharma.
The Handball competition was conducted by the technical penal including Bandana Sharma, Vipin Potra, Rishi kumar, Karun Magotra, Pallvi and sourab.
Among others present were Jaswinder Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Raman Gupta, Deepika, Somdev, Rakesh khajuria, Rajesh Sharma, Asha and Meenakshi.
