JAMMU, Nov 23: Army Public School (APS) Udhampur won the prestigious AWES National Quiz Competition at Raina Auditorium of Army School Daula Kuan in New Delhi recently. The students who participated in the Competition were Arun Sharma, Shakha Bhural and Ayush Acharya, guided by the teacher Sanjeev Kumar. Chief guest Lt General Mahinder Singh presented students with shinning silver trophy and a cash prize of Rs 30, 000. The Competition was held between six commandants of the Indian Army, which included schools from all over the country. The six participating schools included APS Udhampur, APS Daula Kuan, APS Lucknow, APS Shillong, APS Secunderabad and APS Mathura. APS Udhampur emerged winner with 88 points.
