APSEWA extends support to JCC’s protest

JAMMU, May 19: All Public Sector Employees and Workers Association (APSEWA) today extended support to Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) protest on May 23.
Addressing a press conference, Amrik Singh Sasan, Chairman, All Public Sector Employees and Workers Association (APSEWA) appealed to the Government to revive DA grant so that timely DA should be released to the public sector employees likewise Government Departments.
He also appealed to implement Gratuity Act in toto in all PSU’s and provide 10 lakh gratuity to the retirees of all the PSUs.
He also demanded implementation of Sixth Pay Commission to all PSUs, release of sixth Pay Commission arrears to all PSUs on the analogy of Government Departments with raise of special funds, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, regularization of daily wagers and consolidated employees and budgetary support to all PSUs with proper allocation of funds.
Among others present were Surjeet Singh, president, APSEWF, Jagdish Sharma, vice chairman, Darshan Singh, Karam Chand, Ashok Dutta, Rajesh Khajuria, Pawan Sharma, etc.
