JAMMU, Dec 31: Arjunveer Singh, an eighth-grade student at Air Force School, Jammu, clinched the National Child Scientist award at the 31st National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) – 2023. His ground breaking app, ReKindle HOPE, designed to prevent suicide by promoting emotional wellness, stood out as the best among participants.
Arjunveer’s app serves as a beacon of hope for those navigating seemingly insurmountable challenges in life. During his presentation, Arjunveer explained the transformative power of his app, asserting that with a simple button press, ReKindle HOPE has the ability to alleviate stress, anxiety, and depression, leaving countless faces adorned with smiles.
The two-day National Children Science Congress took place at RM Public School in Chowadhi, Jammu. The event was organized by the National Council for Urban and Rural Development Society (NCURDS) Jammu, under the guidance of the School Education Department Jammu, with support from the National Council for Science and Technology Communications (NCSTC), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
During the NCSC, 41 projects were presented by young scientists from different places. The top seven outstanding projects, including Arjunveer in the junior category, were selected to represent Jammu at the national level later this month.
