Srinagar, Dec 21: With the Chillai Kalan setting in, the options for outdoor activities in the Valley are bound to become restricted and Chinar 9Jawan clubs that have been opened all across Kashmir promise to provide the youth with a suitable platform to engage with people their age besides indulging in various constructive, healthy and fun activities, a defence spokesman said here.
The spokesman said the club’s edition in Behibagh area of Kulgam district is proving just that haunt for a stream of youngsters who are optimizing the numerous facilities afforded there with the well equipped gymnasium as the most favoured destination.
“The boys, under the expert gym trainer, are following a strict fitness regimen with necessary tips on other exercises towards a fit and healthy body and mind. Seeing the enthusiastic response that the club has elicited from the youth whose number is increasing by the day, the army is planning to extend the gym facility thrice a day,” he said.
