Jammu, Nov 28: With the dual aim of inculcating competitive spirit and personality development of the future generation of J&K, the Army conducted an inter-school quiz competition at Akhnoor today.
A total of 40 students forming teams from eight local schools participated in the competition. The children participated with full gusto and enthusiasm while answering to the questions related to Politics, Defence, Cultural, Geography, History, National & International Current Affairs and Sports.
Prizes and gifts were presented to the participants by the Commander of the Chenab Gunners. The teachers, students and the civil dignitaries who witnessed the event lauded the effort of the Army for this noble gesture.
