Army conducts Collage Competition to enrich national integration

Bhaderwah, June 12: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Bhaderwah organised a “Collage Competition” in which the theme was ‘National-Integration’ at Government Higher Secondary School Assar, Bhaderwah on June 11,  2013 under the aegis of the Counter Insurgency Force (Delta).
Army has spread awareness among the students about the old heritage and culture in other parts of country as well as provided the information about the various cultural similarities which have been contributing in ensuring “Unity in Diversity” in our nation.     A total of sixty students of various age group and classes participated in the collage competition and understood the concept of “National Integration”.  The students participated whole heartedly and surprised one and all with their sense of creativity and talent.
Principal of the school Mr Chaudhary Harbans Lal remarked that, “The students of the school were impatient and excited to participate in the competition.  This was an excellent opportunity for the students to hone their talent and acquire self confidence in various fields”. He thanked the Army for this noble initiative on the part of Rashtriya Rifles and commented that “these kinds of activities are really beneficial for the youth of this remote area as it allows them to showcase their talent”.
The event concluded with distribution of prizes to the winner and participants by  Chaudhary Harbans Lal.
