RAJOURI, Dec 22: To promote peace and harmony and provide opportunity to youth to showcase their sporting talent, Rashtriya Rifles conducted a Kabaddi Tournament at Kalakote, here.
Six teams participated in the tournament and the final match was played between Village Dali and Village Siatsui.
Village Dali team emerged victorious defeating their rival by (36-27).
According to the organisers, the aim of conducting the competition was to channelize the energy of youth in a positive direction, boost competitive spirit and skill, besides helping them not to derail from the mainstream.
Army Officers and the Officials from the Department of Youth Services and Sports distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
