UDHAMPUR, Aug 17: Inter Village Under-19 Boys Volleyball Tournament was conducted by Rashtriya Rifles battalion located at Jhangar under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Uniform Force Headquarters based at Reasi.
Twelve village teams drawn from district Rajouri participated in the event.
The Argi Fireballs in a well contested finals won the Tournament. The winning team was awarded a cash prize, winner’s trophy and individual prizes including ‘Best Smasher’, ‘Best Blocker’ and ‘Best Player’ of the Tournament.
The Tournament motivated and encouraged the youth of district Rajouri who participated in it enthusiastically.
The people of the area urged the Army officials to organize more such sports activities in future also.
