Army conducts pre-recruitment training prog for youth

RAJOURI, Mar 21:  The Army organised  pre-recruitment training programme for the youth of Rajouri district for a duration of four weeks recently  at Youth Centre, Palma.
The training caters to the requirements of recruitment into Armed Forces, Territorial Army and Paramilitary which are the most sought after professions amongst the youth of remote villages.
To create additional employment opportunities in the Corporate sector too, certain vocational and soft skills have also been added in the curriculum, apart from the basic physical fitness and written examination training which will give them an insight into the complete process of recruitment. The training imparted to local youths will instill confidence and improve the standards for both physical and written tests.
Candidates are also looking at it as an opportunity to enhance and improve their personal and social conduct skills. This locals friendly step taken by the Army will be creating more employment opportunities, lead to positive interaction, social development and foster healthy environment amongst the youth coming from far flung and isolated areas of Rajouri district.
The response to the initiative was overwhelming and the trainees are hopeful that the training imparted will help them succeed in enrollment in Army, Paramilitary Forces and Corporate sector.
