JAMMU, Sept 28: The Tiger Hill Brigade organized a youth mela under Operation Sadbhavana at village Khaltsi.
The mela attracted a large gathering of both military and civil dignitaries as well as local populace.
A large number of cultural events were organized. In addition to this, medical and dental treatments, information regarding Army recruitment, admission in Sainik/Military schools were provided.
The youth mela was conducted as a part of Army’s concerted effort to showcase local talents in the remote areas of J&K. A large number of school children also participated in the event.
The Army weapons and equipment were at display for public viewing. The pipe band display enthralled the gathering.
