Army establishes educational counseling centre for youth

Srinagar, Dec 27: As part of collaborative initiative to secure a better future for Kashmiri youth, army today said it established ‘Kashmir Centre for Educational Counselling and Professional Guidance’ at Mirgund area of Pattan in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A defence spokesman said the Centre was inaugurated by GOC of Sharifabad Garrison. He accented that the centre will act as a central agency to coordinate counseling and professional guidance to local youth for successfully securing jobs in various sectors.
The spokesman said the Centre renders training and theoretical knowledge for various entrance examinations and facilitate online registration for various recruitment rallies. “On the sidelines of the event, wheel chairs and three wheel scooters were also distributed to differently-abled people of the adjoining areas. Several police and civil dignitaries too graced the occasion,” the defence spokesman added.
