Srinagar, Nov 1: Army’s ‘Trichy Terriers’, under Operation Sadhbhavna, has flagged off a tour of children to various States.
An Army statement said the tour covering Jammu, Amballa, Dehradun, Mussouri, and Nainital organized by ‘Trichy Terriers’ was flagged off from Srinagar by the Commanding Officer on October 23.
“The tour is an opportunity for the local children to interact with their brother and sisters who live in other parts of the country. Children will visit the prestigious Indian Military Academy and Forest Research Institute in Dehradun and Mussouri in the syi-van Shivalik Hills, the ‘tals’ of Nanital and amongst various other interesting places,” the statement said.
He said that the youth in Kashmir had tremendous capabilities which need to be encouraged.
