Army flags off motivational tour

LEH, Sept 23: A motivational tour comprising of 25 villagers under the aegis of the Tiger Hill Brigade (Batalik) was flagged off today from Biamah (Leh) by Commander, Tiger Hill Brigade.
The tour aims at providing an opportunity to the villagers to enlighten themselves about the historical, geographical and economical facets as well as to provide them insight into latest technology being utilized in agriculture and dairy farming, which can be incorporated in their own occupation.
The villagers will be visiting Dr Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry Nauni, Solan (Himachal Pradesh) and Dairy Microbiology Division National Dairy Research Institute Karnal (Haryana).
The participants will be interacting with dignitaries and Senior Army Officers in New Delhi and Chandigarh during the tour. They will also be visiting various places of interest in Chandigarh and New Delhi.
