KARGIL, Nov 14: Army Goodwill School at Farona (Kargil) functioning under the aegis of “Forever In Operations Division”, celebrated its Annual Day with pomp, glory and pride.
The much celebrated event was attended by Mohammad Ali, Zonal Education Officer, LAHDC and many other civilian and military dignitaries of the region including the students, proud parents and esteemed teachers.
The chief guest of the occasion, Poonam Joshy, Deputy Convener AWWA, “Forever In Operations Division” applauded the children for staging an excellent show of talent in variety entertainment programme including dance, songs and skits which instilled National Integration and patriotic fervour in each of the attendees.
In her address, Mrs Joshy expressed her gratitude to the teaching staff in making Army Goodwill School the pride of the region.
Azad House won the Best House Trophy and Khairun Nissa of Class VIIth won the best student of year award.
