Srinagar, May 9: Army today said after the successful excursions yesterday by the children of Arampura and Arzal in Budgam district, it was the turn of zealous youth of Waltingu and adjacent areas who had an outing with their soldier brothers of Devsar Army in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A defence spokesman said the trekking was organized along the higher reaches of Waltingu and covering the picturesque landscapes of Waltingu Nar and Pachchagam Nar.
He said the youth were unanimous in acknowledging the fun trip to be an excellent opportunity to break monotony, meet and bond with not only boys and girls their age but also to know and make friends with the soldiers.
