RAJOURI, May 3: An Army jawan was killed after he was hit by a vehicle inside Army unit in Rajouri sector last evening.
Police sources said that incident reportedly took place inside Army Battle School located at Sarol in Chingus area. His colleague while reversing the Army truck, allegedly hit him at the back, causing him serious injuries. He succumbed to injuries in Army hospital Udhampur today.
The Army referred the matter to Rajouri police, which registered a case and started investigation. The deceased was identified as Sepoy Mahinder Vikas Kirat of 11 Assam. He was under going training course at the Army Battle School.
