JAMMU, May 16: An Army jawan was injured in a mine blast near the Line of Control (LoC) at Makhyari Dhok in Sabjian sector of Poonch district.
The injured Army jawan has been identified as Naik Rashid-ul-Rehman of 17 JAK Li.
Reports said the Army jawan was part of a patrol party in forward area of the LoC when he stepped over a land mine leading to an explosion, causing injuries to the Naik.
The injured jawan was evacuated from the site of blast and shifted to Military Hospital. He was responding to the treatment.
