Army organises Para Sailing Camp

Participant exhibiting superb skill during a para sailing contest organised by Army on Friday.

JAMMU, June 28: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Sarh, under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) set up a ‘Shahid Sepoy Sunil Kumar- Para Sailing Camp’ at Chinka, Talwara  in Reasi, today.
The General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) inaugurated the Camp.
The aim of the camp is to inculcate and develop a flair for adventure and outdoor life amongst the youth.
During inauguration, twenty Army personnel and five local girls were given an opportunity to experience the thrill of Para Sailing.
It is pertinent to mention here that the camp is being organized in the memory of Late Sepoy Sunil Kumar of the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, who was martyred on 26 August 2009, while bravely combating terrorist in Hajjamnagar Village.
