JAMMU, Aug 12: In the series of events to commemorate the 68th Independence Day, the elite DAH Division of Indian Army organized an Equipment Display Programme at the Shaheed Vikram Batra Stadium, Palampur.
Rich tributes were paid to the martyrs who have laid down their lives.
The event showcased the equipment display wherein military equipment was shown to the school children to inspire them to join the Armed Forces.
Pamphlets on various types of enrolment in the Defence Forces were also distributed.
The event was witnessed by thousands of people apart from students.
