KISHTWAR, July 2: An Inter Village Kabaddi Tournament was organized by the Army at Kishtwar under Sadhbhavana initiative.
A total of six boys and girls teams participated in the Tournament.
The matches were conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis for two days and the final match was played, today.
In the boys’ category, Begana Club defeated Banderna Team in a close contest, while in the girls category, Matta Team defeated Karan Sports Club to lift the title trophy of the Championship.
The teams showed overwhelming response with great vigour and spirit.
The tournament was witnessed by a large gathering of locals.
The winners and runners-up teams were awarded with a trophy each and individual prizes.
