Srinagar, Mar 7: In an innovative method to reach out to remote areas of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, army based in Hattipura village organised mobile medical camp in far flung areas which are deprived of active medical facilities for civilians due to their remote location.
A defence spokesman said minor and common ailments were effectively addressed by the medical team. “Free medicines were also distributed to the locals. A total of 85 people including children were treated. People enthusiastically approached the team and availed medical facilities,” the defence spokesman added.
