POONCH, Feb 7: A 52-year-old porter died after falling from a tree at Banpat in Poonch sector today.
The deceased has been identified as Tarlok Kumar Bali, son of Sunder Dass Bali, resident of Jhulas in Poonch district. Tarlok was working as porter with the Army Banpat area for the last many years. The body was brought at district hospital Poonch for Medico-legal formalities.
SHO Poonch, SD Singh confirmed the death of Bali and said that as per preliminary details, he was working as permanent porter with the Army and fell down from a tree.
