Army provides computers, stationery to Govt schools

JAMMU, Feb 4: Army provided computers and others accessories like UPS, Laser Printer and furniture to Government Middle School, Gurah Pattan and Government Girls Middle School, Garhi in Jammu district and furniture and stationery items to Government Middle School, Dhokri in Poonch district.
In a simple ceremony organized today, Crossed Swords Division handed over computers along with other accessories to Government Middle School, Gurah Pattan in Akhnoor District under Operation Sadbhavana. The function was also attended by students, teachers, officials, and prominent members of the civil society.
Meanwhile, in a ceremony, White Knight Corps distributed computers to Government Girls Middle School, Garhi (Nonihal) under the Sadbhavana initiative. The ceremony was attended by Headmaster of the School, Kartar Singh and village elders.
Speaking at the ceremony Commander of Tithwal Brigade urged the students to use the information technologies facilities to derive maximum benefits and also motivated them to work hard for a better and prosperous India.
Similarly, to provide quality education to the children of villages located in close vicinity of Line of Control in Poonch District, the Poonch Brigade provided furniture and stationery items to Government Middle School, Dhokri under Operation Sadbhavana.
The furniture and stationery items were provided to the Headmaster of Government Middle School, Dhokri by Commanding Officer, Banwat Battalion.
