UDHAMPUR, Aug 27: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Khari Bowl distributed sports items among the students of Government High School Buzla and Nachalana and Government Higher Secondary School Mohu under the aegis of Headquarters Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) as part of ongoing Operation Sadbhavana.
The aim of distributing sports items was to give an impetus to sports in the life of students hailing from far flung and remote areas.
The school had inadequacy of funds and sports items to cater for the sports needs of all students in the school. Hence, the Army authorities at Khari Bowl came forward to provide sports items to the students.
On the occasion, the sports items were handed over to Headmaster of the school in the presence of school staff, Sarpanches of the Khari Bowl and prominent persons of the area.
