JAMMU, July 20: The Health Week which is being celebrated by the Army public School Damana, commenced at School Campus, here today.

According to a handout issued here, number of activities would be carried through this week and the prominent among them is the dental awareness and check-up of the students of the Primary Wing of the school, which was carried out by the expert team of doctors from Indira Gandhi Govt Dental College, Jammu today. The team of doctors comprised of Dr Sangeeta Bhagat, Dr Salma Parveen, Dr Shiwiti Garg and Dr Rakesh Raina, under the directions of Dr Yaqoob, Principal IGGDC and Dr Romesh Singh.

The other activities which would be carried out during the week tiffin-drive for encouraging students to have balanced diet, vaccination, importance of first aid, meditation, yoga and allied activities.
