JAMMU, June 5: The Jammu based Army Recruiting Office conducted recruitment rally for the youth of Samba, Kathua, Jammu, Reasi, Udhampur, Rajouri and Poonch districts from May 30 to June 5 at Sunjwan Military Station.
Besides soldiers (general duty), the recruitment was also conducted for technical, clerical and medical cadre. After checking of the documents, physical measurement, ground test etc were conducted. Despite hot weather, there was tremendous response of the candidates at Sunjwan and nearly 4000 candidates turned up for the rally every day.
Brig Udhay Yadav, DDG Recruiting, Headquarters Zone (Pb & J&K) Jalandhar, visited the rally site on June 3 and interacted with the candidates. He appreciated the support provided by the civil authorities and the police for the smooth conduct of rally.
