UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: An Infantry Battalion (112) of Territorial Army (TA), Dogra will organize a recruitment rally for the category general duty (GD) soldiers, clerks (SD) and Tradesmen at Jalandhar Cantt on December 30.
A Defence spokesman said that the rally at Jallandhar Cantt venue would start at 9 am onwards for the candidates from J&K, Himachal, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi States. The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 42 years, weight 50 kg, height 160 cms and chest 77-82 cms. The Educational qualifications for soldier GD should be 10th pass with 45 % marks in aggregate and 33 % in each subject. For clerical cadre they should be minimum 10 Plus two pass with 50 % marks. For tradesmen, the minimum qualification is 10th pass. Good shooters, vehicle mechanics, drivers and sportsmen will be given preference.
