JAMMU, Oct 15: An Inter-School Quiz Competition of the Army Public Schools of Northern Command (NC) was held at Army Public School, Akhnoor today.
Teams from Udhampur, Srinagar, Rakhmuthi, Nagrota and Akhnoor participated in this competition.
The quiz competition was conducted by the renowned Quiz Mater Adittya Nath Mubayi, who is among India’s top quizzer and has represented India at the World Master Quiz of International Quizzing Association in Liverpool, UK.
The Quiz Competition comprised of seven rounds namely Multiple Choice Question Round, Visual Round, Mixed Faces, Audio Round, Oral Round, Earth Round and Rapid Fire Round. Each School had three participants who were fighting for the coveted trophies.
The team of Army Public School, Udhampur was the winner and Army Public School, Akhnoor was the runner up. Col Baljeet Singh & Lt Col V K Choubey graced the occasion.
KCS Mehta, Principal, Army Public School, Akhnoor and Mr. Adittya Nath Mubayi gave away prizes and certificates to the participants. Mr. KCS Mehta gave the vote of thanks.
He congratulated all the participants and exhorted the students to strive for excellence and aim high in their lives. Sweta Srivastava conducted the proceedings of the programme.
