JAMMU, May 20: Satveer Kaur bagged the first prize in the Online Singing competition, organised by Arohi Productions and Arohi Kal Sangeet Vidyalaya, here.
The second prize went to Suhani Sharma, while the third prize was clinched by Ambika Soni.
The consolation prize went to Krishna Mahajan.
The auditions for this programme were conducted online via social media platform by Atul Pandita (Project Coordinator), wherein a large number of contestants participated from urban as well as rural areas like Ramban, Billawar, Basohli, Udhampur and Reasi.
The competition was judged by Kuldeep Kumar, Managing Director & Chairman of Arohi Productions & Arohi Kala Sangeet Vidyalaya.
“The only motive to organize this programme was to engage and encourage all the aspiring singers who were not able to display their talent on stage because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” Kuldeep Kumar said.
He thanked Atul Pandita for immense support in organizing the competition and also extended thanks to all the participants for taking part in this online event enthusiastically.
