Around 122 candidates shortlisted in Aryans Mega Job Fair

JAMMU, July 1: Mega Job Fair organised by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh brought a bouquet of jobs as around 122 candidates were selected by around 25 companies.
Advocate, Amit Rana, Member Bar Council of India inaugurated the Job Fest. The fest witnessed over 1500 walk-ins from different parts of the North India. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.
Advocate Amit Rana while inaugurating the job fest said that placement is the backbone of any educational institution without which no campus can satisfy the dreams of its students and hopes of their parents.
Dr Anshu Kataria said that Punjab has become the hub of education and now is emerging as the hottest job markets in India. With huge hiring requirements, the job fest would facilitate recruitment and enable jobseekers to fulfill their aspirations and meet the need of today’s industry, he added.
The fest witnessed job seekers from the tricity as well as other parts of the North India. Of the total number of participants, 60 per cent of the jobseekers were at the fresher level, 25 per cent at mid management and 10 per cent at senior level. It was a multi-industry job fest, with participating companies from IT, ITES, Education, Medical and Manufacturing among others.
Prof BS Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group commenting on the occasion said that Zap Build, Outline System and Scope Telecom were the prominent companies offering good salary package upto Rs 3.5 lakh per annum.
