JAMMU, Feb 9 : Valedictory function of the art integrated workshop took place at Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Raipur, Bantalab, near here today. The workshop was held in collaboration with Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH), J&K. The workshop had started from Feb 6. Eminent educationists and intellectuals from various educational institutes of great repute across the State largely formed the target participants, resource persons and audience. Some prominent persons from the State also attending this three day long workshop.
Addressing the valedictory function A.K Raina general secretary, HESK laid stress on the opportunity to uncover the characteristics of quality integration. Altaf Hussan from INTACH welcomed the students at GMCEJ, resource persons. Those who deliberated today were Prof.G.L.Koul, Principal GMCEJ, Anil Jain and Saleem Beg (Member National Monument Authority and convener of INTACH. A film on Integrated Art was also very much liked by the students and other guests. The programme was very innovative and enlightening. Certificates were distributed among the participants.
The final session was the art room session where the students and the teachers enjoyed the innovative methods of learning, Anil Dhar President, HESK, M.K Bangroo and Sanjay Dhar members management HESK, Prof B.L Zutshi research advisor to HESK, Principal GMCEJ and members from INTACH and members from Fine Arts were also among the gathering.
The students of GMCEJ also participated in the workshop.
