JAMMU, Aug 24: Splendid inning of 60 runs by Arun helped Taigo Bullz Cricket Club (TBCC) to smash Sharda Cricket Club (SCC) by 34 runs and to seal berth in the next stage of the ongoing 1st Jammu Cricket Premier League Pink Ball Tourney, being organized by Krish Sports and Events at KC Sports Club complex, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, TBCC made 154 runs by losing 7 wickets. Arun chipped in some crispy shots and made 60 runs, while Ankush and Rakesh made 30 and 16 runs respectively.
From SCC side, King scalped 2 wickets, while Sagar and Rahul took one wicket apiece.
In the second inning, SCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at 120 runs by losing all wickets. Vishu was the top scorer with 34 runs, while Bablu and Asif made 23 and 17 runs respectively.
From TBCC side, Harman was the pick of the bowler, who took 3 wickets, while Jaipal scalped 2 wickets and Ankush pocketed one wicket.
Arun of TBCC was adjudged as Man of the Match and was awarded by Sanjay Raina, who was the chief guest during the match.
The match was officiated by Neeraj and Shakti as umpires, while Shahrukh maintained the scorecard.
The tournament is being played under the supervision of Sagar Sadhu and Rajat Sharma from Krish Sports and Events.
