JAMMU, Mar 24: Special football coaching camp for boys and girls, organized by J&K’s International Footballer, State Awardee and Member J&K State Sports Council concluded at MA Stadium, here today.
Over 100 players including boys and girls participated in this special camp.
Arun bestowed soccer tips to young footballers and imparted basic techniques and skills to them.
The participants were all praise for the organizers and wished organization of more and more such camps.
“It was a great experience for all of us. We wish that Government organizes more and more such camps. The organizers provided us kits and gear. Arun Sir gave us tips as to how to be successful at the higher levels,” said Dechan Angmo, one of the participants.
It is pertinent to mention here that Arun has provided sports kit/stuff to fifteen young girls and boys who have participated and performed well during the camp. He also chose two best players daily and provided them sports kits for encouragement.
On the Closing ceremony, Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Physical Director, University of Jammu and Ashok Sharma, SSP Security and former National Footballer were the guests and encouraged, who encouraged the young talent on the occasion.
Prominent among other dignitaries present on the occasion were Vipan Gupta (AGM JK Bank); Ajay (SP and Former International Footballer; Nisar Hussain, president medalist and former National Footballer; Surinder Singh Bunty, (VC JKFA); Nazir Ahmed, Former National Footballer and Member J&K State Sports Council; Former National Footballer, Zindi; Ashok Singh, Ravi Singh, Rajinder, Arun Jasrotia, Ranjit Singh and Rajesh Sumbria.
