JAMMU, May 7: NSS volunteers namely Arushi and Geetika of Maulana Azad Memorial College excelled in symposium by securing 1st and 2nd positions respectively in the National Youth Exchange Programme.
The programme was organized by Live for Others: Being Helpful Foundation at P.S.P.S Govt. PG College for Women, Gandhi Nagar Jammu from May 5 to 7.
The three-day youth exchange program aimed at raising awareness about drug addiction and the need to speak out against it. The event included a symposium, poster-making competition and a rally.
They received 1st and 2nd prizes in the symposium for their contributions to the discussion on drug addiction and ways to tackle it. Programme Officers, Dr. Koushal Kiran Thakur and Shabeer Ahmed, congratulated them for their achievements and Principal Dr. G.S. Rakwal also extended his warmest congratulations to the winners.
The NSS volunteers demonstrated their commitment to the cause and showcased their abilities by winning prizes in the symposium. The success of the event highlights the importance of youth-led initiatives in addressing social issues and creating a better future for all.
