JAMMU, Apr 17: Arvind Gupta, senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu West Constituency, today inaugurated a vibrant exhibition organized by the Himalayan Heritage Museum at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS), Talab Tillo, Jammu. The event drew enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and members of the local community.
The exhibition showcased a diverse collection of heritage artefacts, traditional handicrafts, and rare photographs, highlighting the cultural richness and traditions of Jammu and Kashmir.
Arvind Gupta lauded the efforts of Inder Singh, Chairman of the Himalayan Heritage Museum, for his unwavering dedication to preserving and promoting the rich cultural legacy of the Himalayan region.
Gupta also interacted with the students and the teaching faculty of the school. He attentively listened to their concerns and took stock of the existing academic and infrastructural facilities at the institution.
Various issues such as the need for better classrooms, upgraded sanitation facilities and the availability of sports and digital learning equipment were discussed during the session.
The MLA assured the school authorities and students of his full support in ensuring that the institution receives the attention and resources it deserves. He committed to taking up the matter with the concerned departments and pledged to work towards improving the overall infrastructure and learning environment at the school.
