JAMMU, Oct 2: The Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh, celebrated its 18th annual cultural extravaganza, “Rajni,” on October 2nd at their Rajpura campus near Chandigarh. The event brought together thousands of students from various disciplines such as B.Tech, B. Pharma, Physiotherapy, Paramedical, MBA, LL.B, BBA, BCA, and many others. The day was filled with vibrant performances and cultural displays, showcasing the diverse talents of the students.
The event kicked off with a traditional Sarswati Vandana by Pankaj Upadhyay & group. Students mesmerized the audience with energetic folk dances, including Rajasthani and Bhojpuri performances by Aman & group, a Giddha by Khushpreet & group, and a captivating Dogri dance by Zaheer from Jammu & his team, highlighting the rich culture of Jammu and Kashmir.
Other performances, such as Nati by Sachin & group, Bihari dance by Amit & group, and the Bhangra by Jasgam & group, kept the audience entertained with their lively rhythms and moves. The modelling segment, featuring students in North Eastern attire and other cultural outfits, was a hit with the audience, drawing repeated applause. Additionally, comedy skits by Ishan & group and Anand & group lightened the atmosphere, providing moments of laughter and joy.
Dr. Anshu Kataria emphasized the importance of co-curricular activities alongside academics, stating that such events contribute to the holistic development of students. The extravaganza was a vibrant celebration of India’s diverse cultures, with students proudly presenting their regional traditions through dance, music, and performances.
