JAMMU, Nov 23: ASCOMS Jammu team comprising of Palash Verma and Mubashir Nabi stood 3rd and qualified for final round of the quiz competition, organised by Indian Psychiatric Society, North Zone through virtual mode.
The quiz was organised for undergraduate students to raise awareness about mental illnesses and also to increase interest of students towards psychiatry.
About 44 teams from various Medical Colleges of North India participated in the quiz.
This is the great achievement that a team which appeared for the first time from ASCOMS Jammu achieved this position.
The team was mentored by Dr Manmeet Singh, Associate Professor of Department of Psychiatry with the support and guidance of Dr Pavan Malhotra, Director Principal ASCOMS and Hospital Sidhra Jammu.
