KISHTWAR, Sept 19: Ashrariya team outclassed Friends Club Kishtwar and lifted the title trophy of the Inter Village Kabaddi League, organised by Army at Chougan Ground, here. A total of 16 teams from all parts of the district participated in the event.
On the concluding day, District Sports Officer, Kishtwar was the chief guest, who awarded the winner and runner-up teams in presence of representatives of Army, Principal Boys Higher Secondary School and other civil dignitaries.
Winner team was given a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and runner-up was awarded with cash prize of Rs 5,000 in addition to medals.
Winner team has been selected for participating in Pir Panjal Kabaddi League, which is scheduled to be held in the month of October.
