JAMMU, May 17: Ashutosh Jamwal won the title in Men section while Sonali Manhas won the title in open Women section in ongoing Jammu Division Selection events organised by Jammu Division selection committee under the banner of All J&K Chess Association and J&K Sports Council here today.
Young Alankrita Sharma won titles in U-9, U-11, U-15 and U-17 junior girl’s categories while Aarav Gupta and Pazhany Kohli won the titles in U-15 and U-13 categories. Miraya Sharma won in U-13 girls and Srujanika Gupta won the title in U-19 girls. Viraj Raina won the title in U-9 boy’s category.
Baldev Raj President AJKCA was chief guest on the occasion who distributed the prizes to the winners. All the events were conducted under the direct supervision of Chairman Jammu division selection committee S P Sharma. Bindu Pathania was chief arbiter of all the events while Arvindu Sharma gave technical support.
