In her return to the singles event after a gap of four years, ace Indian shuttler Ashwini Ponappa today registered her second consecutive win to qualify for the main draw of Canara Bank All-India Senior Ranking badminton tournament here.
Ashwini beat Tamil Nadu player S Shruthi 15-12, 15-13 in the second round of the qualifying event being played at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy here.
Ashwini yesterday had thrashed Andhra Pradesh girl Siri Chandana 15-8 15-6.
