NEW DELHI, Sept 2: Reiterating its strong focus on promoting sports in the country, IndianOil has inducted Shot Putter Inderjeet Singh, who currently tops both Asian and national rankings. Joining IndianOil at its Northern Regional Office in Delhi, Singh expressed happiness and pride on becoming a part of the nation’s flagship energy major and the highest ranked Fortune ‘Global 500’ enterprise.
In season 2015, the 27-year-old shot putter won eight consecutive Gold medals at international and national championships. He won the Gold medal in the Asian Athletic Championships 2015 held in Wuhan with a new championship record throw of 20.41m.  He bagged a hat-trick of Gold medals in the year 2015 by winning gold medals at the Asian Grand Prix Series, Thailand and Universiade, Korea.
Inderjeet walked into the limelight at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, where he finished with a Bronze medal in the men’s shot put. He is young and hungry for his first major international success. The 2015 IAAF World Championships and the 2016 Rio Olympics are going to be his playfields. Inderjeet Singh is an athlete to watch-out for if you are an avid Indian sports afficionado.
Singh hails from Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar in Punjab and is currently training for Rio Olympics 2015.
