JAMMU, Aug 29:  The management of ASN Higher Secondary School, Resham Ghar Colony and Channi Himmat, Jammu released the 7th issue of its combined annual school magazine ‘ADARSH’ at Adarsh College of Education, Tarore Bridge, National Highway, Samba, today.
Dilbag Singh, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Range, was the chief guest on the occasion while JP Singh, DIG Jammu Range presided over the function. The other dignitaries present on the occasion as the guests of honuor included Israr Khan, SSP Samba, Nissar Ahmed, SSP Crime, Jammu, Saujanya Sharma Joint Director Information, Jammu, Zahida Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Javed Khateeb, Joint Secretary J&K BOSE, Vidya Rattan Sharma, Jt Secretary (Exam) J&K BOSE, ID Soni, State Commissioner (S), J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides and Sandeep Mehta, SDPO Muthi-Domana
The function started with lighting of traditional lamp.
Chairman Adarsh Educational Trust, Jammu, A.K Kapoor, presented welcome address.
After the Saraswati Vandna, Ritesh Kapoor, Administrator of the School and the Editor of the Magazine gave brief report of the magazine and highlighted its contents.
The students of the ASN Higher Secondary School presented a group song on the occasion.
JP Singh DIG Jammu Range while speaking on the occasion said that in the modern era of practical world we have to provide the child the environment where he will be capable to face the challenges.
Dilbag Singh, Inspector General of Police, Jammu Range during his blessing greeted the Editorial board for doing yeoman’s service and for being able to gather influential and intellectual people in giving the magazine a proper shape and structure.
The students of the School who have excelled in 8th, 10th and 12th Board Examinations were also felicitated by the guests on the occasion.
Others present on the occasion were PB Kapoor, MD Adarsh Educational Trust, Poonam Chib, Principal Adarsh College of Education, Rashim Anand, Principal Adarsh Training and Research Institute, SHO Bari Brahmna, SHO Vijaypur, Shiv Charan Dass, KK Gupta, Jai Lal Sharma (Ex Director Horticulture) and Mr. Rajesh, Chairman A K Vidya Mandir.
