JAMMU, Jan 10: Speaker of State Assembly, Kavinder Gupta revised the Assembly Calendar and made an announcement in this regard in the House today.
The Assembly, which had a working day on January 14 will observe a off day on that day in view of Bhandara being organized at Bua Datti Ji Temple situated in the Civil Secretariat premises.
The Speaker said that the decision was taken in view of security concerns hence the Assembly will remain off on the same day.
As per the new schedule the Assembly will also have double sitting on January 31 instead of the single sitting and appropriate Bills will be taken in this sitting. However Assembly date will remain as per the earlier calendar.
