JAMMU, May 20: Understanding the never ending demand for patients undergoing treatment and planned surgeries, the Astro India Automobile Pvt Ltd, authorized dealer of Mahindra and Mahindra, organized a blood donation camp at its Bari Brahmana headquarters.
The camp was organized by Astro in association with Reliance Insurance and GMC Hospital. Along with the blood donation camp the Astro India also got their employees medically checked up.
The camp received a remarkable response from the management as well as the employees. The management shared its experience and said, “It was a proud moment for all us and our Astro family when we donated blood. Only a needy person knows the importance of blood but we as individual should understand the same. When our single contribution can save the life, if every individual decides to donate, there will be no shortage of blood in the world. People should live with love and care the society. Blood donation is just one way of doing that”.
