R S PURA, Nov 9: Athletic Meet organized by Young Athletic Club concluded at Bana Singh Stadium, here today.
Captain Bana Singh, Paramveer Chakra was the chief guest on the concluding function, who was accompanied by the organizing secretary, Kudan Pahalwan and overall incharge Shamas Malik, athletic coach.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Mehak, Rajni Atri, Gourav Kumar Atri, Jatinder Singh, Rakesh Kumar and Sanjay Maandi.
Earlier, in 200 meters senior boys, Amardep Khajuria, Teg Ali and Sunil Singh bagged gold, silver and bronze respectively, while in 200 meters senior girls, the gold, silver and bronze medals went to Damini Sharma, Ravinder Kour and Ashiya Bano.
In 200 meters Under-18 boys, Shamas Din, Ashwani Kumndal and Arjun Singh claimed gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in shot put senior boys, Krish Khullar bagged gold, Kamal Khullar won silver and Parveen Kumar claimed bronze.
In 200 meters Under-14 boys, Amarjeet Singh, Wahid Choudhary and Abhishek Sharma claimed gold, silver and bronze respectively, while in 800 meters senior boys, the gold, silver and bronze medals went to Sukhinder Singh, Sunny Kumar and Yogesh Kumar respectively.
The gold, silver and bronze medals in senior boys were bagged by Rahul Lakhotra, Rajinder Kumar and Tajinder Singh respectively, while in high jump senior boys, Chetan Atri won gold, Rahul Atri bagged silver and Arjun Atri claimed bronze.
