JAMMU, Apr 26: APS Damana organised ATL community exchange programme in the School premises with an aim to raise curiosity and innovation amongst the budding young innovators, here today.
Under Vidyanjali, the staff and students of Govt. Middle School Parwah visited ATL Lab of the School and were acquainted with the world of innovative projects and accorded hands-on practice to enrich their innovative and creative skills.
The event commenced with a welcome note by Sukriti Sharma TGT Computer, followed by the lighting of the lamp by Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana along with Shallu Kapoor, Vice Principal of the School, Science faculty and IT faculty. The School choir enthralled the gathering with their melodious song followed by vote of thanks by Shashi Dogra, PGT Biology.
The young prodigies were addressed by the School Principal in the AV Room wherein the students were sensitized about the relevance and scope of the education for better future prospects and endeavours. She further motivated the students to incorporate their ideas innovatively in their lives and work collaboratively to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
The students and educators visited the ATL Lab of the School where in resplendent array of projects prepared by the students of APS Damana were showcased and the young innovators were given opportunity of hands on practice and were motivated to make the projects like traffic lights using Arudino, Breadboard, Sensors etc.
Furthermore, the students also visited the Maths Lab wherein they were enlightened with the conceptual knowledge of Mathematics. Later on, the students were also acquainted with the cosmos of the Geography World by Rohit Jarngal PGT Geography and made aware about the territorial ranges and existence of the country in the World Map.
In order to ignite enthusiasm towards sports and fitness, the students were made to visit the open Gym located within the School premises.
