JAMMU, June 22: Atul Kumar Gupta, president of All J&K Chess Association was re-elected to the post of Joint Secretary for the term 2014-2017 in All India Chess Federation results of which were declared by Returning Officer Justice K M Nataraajan in the Annual general body meeting of AICF held at 5 Star Hotel Hyatt Chennai in which delegates of almost all the States of India participated.
He was re-elected for the promotion of game in North particularly J&K State.
RV Raja, Big industrialist and owner of Ramco cements and Ramco systems was elected as new president of Federation while another big Industrialist RM Dongre was elected as treasurer.
V Hariharan was elected as secretary, while DV Sunder, vice president world chess federation and Bharat singh Chouhan President commonwealth chess association were also present in the AGM of AICF.
