Awareness on COVID-19 held by SSB

DODA, Mar 16: 7th Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) organised awareness programme regarding COVID-19 pandemic at Khellani, here today.
The awareness programme was held under the chairmanship of Ajay Kumar Commandant, whereas Neelkant Deputy Commandant and Jagdish Ram Bhat Assistant Commandant were also present during the programme.
About 70 students of Govt Higher Secondary School, Happy Home Higher Secondary School and New Standard Higher Secondary School along with their schools teachers and locals took part in this programme.
The resource person delivered speech on the role the paramilitary forces, especially the SSB to control the pandemic and law and order situation during the pandemic and also guided the participants regarding social distancing, mask and sanitizer to control the pandemic.
Children disseminated awareness among the masses through their drawings and slogans on COVID-19 pandemic and also took part in essay writing competition.
In speech competition, Shavita Manhas, Riya Devi and Bushan Ahmed stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd, whereas top three positions were clinched by Mahima Kalyan, Dheeraj Kotwal and Palak Manhas in essay writing and in drawing, Vivek Kumar, Tamanna Rana and Deepika Kalyan clinched top three positions respectively.
