SAMBA, Apr 29: Army Public School, Bari Brahmana celebrated its Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) Raising Day with great pomp and show, here today.
Neeta Rawal, Principal of the School was the chief guest on the occasion, wherein the students presented a combo of various cultural items to mark the importance of ‘AWES Raising Day’. The programme started with an article about the existence and importance of the Day.
The School’s Choir and Orchestra displayed a musical show with apt amalgamation of melody and rhythm, while the students of senior class presented a stage performance showcasing different educational and professional institutions established under the umbrella of AWES which reflect the primary aim of the AWES to offer quality education to the wards of the armed forces personnel.
Principal in her address sensitized the students about the significance of the Day and motivated them to take pride in being part of the organisation. She emphasised on the fact that AWES is helping the students to grow personally, professionally and socially as AWES understands the fact that “Education is one thing that no one can take away.”
